NV JAMBU

NV Jambu is an active ingredient encapsulated in lipid particles with a particle diameter greater than 200 nm. Encapsulation through technology developed by Nanovetores allows the stabilization of sensitive and complex components to be formulated in their free form, giving NV Jambu an anti-aging effect, preventing and reducing the depth of expression lines. Furthermore, it promotes a sensorial action, bringing a slight tingling sensation.

Active Ingredients

Widely used in northern Brazilian cuisine, jambu is known for causing a characteristic sensation of numbness in the mouth. In recent years, it has gained prominence in the cosmetic industry due to its unique properties. The vegetable is widely recognized for its active ingredients, which include essential oils, saponins, triterpenoids and, mainly, spilanthol.

Spilanthol

Spilanthol has been used in the cosmetic area as an active ingredient for combating anti-aging signs. According to Bráz et al, with muscle contraction, structures of the dermis such as colloidal gel, cells and fibers (collagen and elastin, for example) undergo micro tensions that modify their structure and functionality. With time and repetition of movements, creases are formed in these points of tension on the skin. Spilanthol acts by relaxing and reducing these micro tensions and, consequently, reduces the formation and depth of expression wrinkles.

Thus, NV Jambu is an innovative active ingredient based on concentrated jambu extract, encapsulated to enhance its effectiveness. Encapsulation allows controlled release directly onto the skin, activated by an enzymatic trigger that acts locally. This targeted release mechanism helps prevent and reduce the depth of expression lines, promoting the relaxation of microtensions in cells, as well as in collagen and elastin fibers.
